The delegates of the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) will define This Wednesday in France which of the five competing cities will host the 2027 World Expo and among the finalists, Bariloche is bidding to bring the mega event to Latin America.
June 21 is the key date for the definition of the completion of the World Expo 2027 for which Bariloche has been working for more than a year. Mayor Gustavo Gennuso is in France for a final presentation before the verdict.
Bariloche competes with Malaga (Spain), Belgrade (Serbia), Phuket (Thailand) and Minnesota (United States).

The final decision is in the hands of 170 BIE delegates who will have to vote tomorrow using an electronic devicefollowing listening to the final presentations of each country.
