It should be noted that the third heat wave It arrived in Mexico since last Thursday, June 1, so it has already been three consecutive weeks causing temperatures from 35 to 45 degrees.

And although most of these phenomena usually last two to three days, this time it has extended its stay in Mexican territory, a fact that has been considered “historic” by meteorologists.

In the same sense, Nelson Valdez has alerted the population, because next Wednesday “will be the most complicated day in terms of heat”, in addition to the fact that “it is the day that summer begins, and when we will have more light hours”.

“We are entering the peak of this unusual heat wave because tomorrow and the day following tomorrow will be the most complicated days in the north and northeast, where in some cases they can approach 50 degrees such as in Coahuila, Nuevo León, Tamaulipas, south Texas and Monterey,” he explained.

It will not be until the weekend when the hot atmosphere begins to drop in the center and south of the national territory, in addition to the fact that the rains are expected to begin to arrive from next Sunday.

Unusual cold front surprises the country

According to the forecast of National Meteorological Service (SMN)a cold front out of season will arrive in the country to refresh with strong winds and rain in at least four entities.

This phenomenon will interact with the tropical jet stream, which will bring strong winds, rain and followingnoon showers for this Tuesday, June 20.

Heavy rainfall will occur in Chiapas, Oaxaca and Guerrero, while showers will be present in Campeche, Chihuahua, Coahuila, Durango, Jalisco, Michoacán, Tabasco and southern Veracruz.
