WhatsApp is working on a feature to have multiple accounts on the same app.
WhatsApp is regarding to integrate a feature allowing you to use two different accounts within the same application. This development follows other recent updates. In particular, the possibility of transferring data between Android and iOS, and that of using the same account on several devices.
WhatsApp will soon allow you to open two on the same application
According to WABetaInfo, it would now be possible to add two separate accounts in the same application. This means that users would no longer need to resort to features like Dual Messenger or Secure Folder to use two different WhatsApp accounts on the same phone.. This feature will be particularly useful for people who manage multiple profiles (personal and professional) while wishing to use only one device.
It is not yet clear whether this feature would also allow the use of two accounts on devices associated with the main device. IUsers of phones with dual SIM configuration might benefit from this feature without having to install a different instance of WhatsApp.
For now, this feature is only available on the Business version of the application, but it seems that the standard version of WhatsApp might also benefit from it. Currently in the testing phase, this new feature might be deployed in a stable way in the coming months..
