You have to try these easy-to-make salty bagels

The ingredients are the same as those of a common bread.

Victoria Saldubehere, our pastry chef from San Martín de los Andes, brings us a salty recipe that lends itself to any time of the day and especially to get down to work on this XXL weekend.

Bagels are round breads with a hole in the middle. They are crunchy on the outside and dense on the inside. It has seasonings on top and inside, traditionally, spreadable cheese or some type of smoked food.

Ingredients:

-500g of flour
-10 gr
-8g dry yeast
-50gr of sugar
-50gr of soft butter
-300cc of water

Preparation:

1) Make a volcano of flour and place the yeast, salt and sugar. Mix with warm water and add the butter until the dough is smooth.

2) Divide the dough into twelve 100 gr buns. Leave them covered on the allowance and wait for the volume to double.

3) Boil water with a tablespoon of honey or sugar to taste and add a pinch of baking soda.

4) Make a hole in the center of the buns, throw them into boiling water and stir for one minute.

5) Preheat the oven to 180° and place the buns on a roasting pan or pizzeria. Add seeds to taste and paint with egg. Bake for 20 minutes.
