At the age of 79, the actor gave birth to a daughter named Gia Virginia Chen De Niro with his partner Tiffany Chen. When asked if his children Drena, Raphael, Julian, Aaron, Elliott and Helen got to meet their sibling, he honestly replied, “Not yet, but they will.” Today it might even be that far: Robert plans to spend international Father’s Day with his kids.

The “The Irishman” actor is also really happy that he became a father once more at the age of almost 80. “It’s a great feeling,” he said on the TV show Today, but added that it’s a little different in old age: “When you’re older, you have an awareness of certain things in life, of family dynamics and everything. You can’t help but learn a lot.”
