NEW JERSEY – The CCD Fest and Graduation at Christ the King Knanaya Catholic Parish Church was held in a very innovative and different way.
After a special Holy Mass for the children and their parents, the CCD children donned their graduation caps and marched around with their teachers. New York Forona Vicar Fr. Jose Tharakkal received the children and gave them a special blessing. Then a public meeting was held in the church hall and all the children and teachers were honored by the parish with special gifts.
After that, children’s various art programs and a love feast were prepared under the leadership of the Parish Council. Parish Vicar Fr. Bins Chethalil, CCD. Principal Jubi Kishkeppuram and Assistant Principal Sijoy Parappalil presided over the programme.
