A 42-year-old driver of an electric motorcycle fell on Sunday morning in Volders (district Innsbruck-Land) following an evasive maneuver 80 meters over a steep forest and was injured. A following attentive driver became aware of the damaged motorcycle. Fearing an accident, she stopped and shouted. In this way, the 42-year-old perceived the woman and was also able to make herself known, according to the police.

The 42-year-old drove around 3.40 a.m. in the Großvolderberg district on a forest road in the direction of the Eppsteiner Aste. When a deer suddenly crossed the road, the 42-year-old swerved, fell and mightn’t find a hold. After the woman had set the rescue chain in motion, the injured person was rescued with a cable and taken to the clinic in Innsbruck.
