Drug Trafficking Dismantled in the Laveu District: Liège Prosecutor’s Office

Drug trafficking was dismantled on Friday in the Laveu district, in the Ardent City, the Liège prosecutor’s office said on Saturday.

The Liège police raided a dwelling located in the Laveu district on Friday, identified as a place of sale of narcotics. Investigators noted the presence of four men in their twenties, living with a roommate at the address. All drug addicts, the individuals were in possession of various narcotics, including lysergide (LSD), ketamine, ecstasy (MDMA), amphetamines and even cannabis, grown in one of the rooms.

Precision scales, order notes and other evidence of traffic were also discovered at the scene.

Arrested on Friday, the four young people were deprived of their freedom. Three admitted to selling drugs for just under a year. The fourth claimed to be only a consumer.

The magistrate on duty at the Liège public prosecutor’s office requested on Saturday the issuance of arrest warrants once morest the four suspects.
