Al-Marsad Newspaper: The family doctor, Dr. Saud Al-Shehri, talked regarding the cumulative brownness, and the difference between it and the normal one.

Al-Shehri said, in a video clip on his page: “Cumulative sugar means the accumulation of a person’s sugar for a period of 60 to 90 days, i.e. from two to 3 months. As for normal sugar, it is my diabetes now.”

He added, “Science has found that iron sticks to red blood cells, and sugar sticks to some of them, so they call it intoxicating hemoglobin.”

And he continued: “They found that 4 to 5.6% of red blood cells stick to sugar, and if this percentage increases, the person suffers from pre-diabetes.”

He explained: “If the percentage increases to 6.4, then the person is at the end of the pre-diabetic stage, and if it is 6.5, then the person suffers from diabetes.”

And he concluded: “You can reduce the cumulative sugar, by reducing the sugar that you use daily.”
