Search

Armed with these elements, the police conducted a search on the spot on Friday morning. They thus discovered that the shelves of the small grocery store were well stocked. There were, in particular, LSD (lysergide), ketamine, ecstasy tablets, cannabis, Speed but also MDMA. The quantities seized, if they are not counted in kilos, leave little doubt regarding the traffic in place at the address.

During the search, the Liège investigators also discovered other clues to a “deal” such as precision scales or handwritten notes which will still have to be analyzed. In addition, one of the youths was also growing cannabis in his room.

The four young adults, all residing at the address, were deprived of their freedom and brought back to the police station where they were questioned at length.

The four explained that they were drug addicts. Three of them have confessed. They explained that they had been dealing narcotics for just under a year. The fourth, he denies his participation in the traffic. He pointed out that he was just a simple drug user.

Saturday morning, the young adults were all referred to the Liège prosecutor’s office where the duty magistrate requested four arrest warrants.
