Different sources would have leaked the date of the next Nintendo Direct, which would take place in the week of June 19-25, 2023.
After all the maelstrom of No-E3 2023, there is only one big company left to make its announcements: Nintendo. Mario’s house has been quiet for a long time, especially following the brutal launch of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, which has even achieved its own Guinness Record. It seems that the silence will soon be broken, because the date of the June Nintendo Direct would have been leaked.
Although initial speculation pointed to the month of July, in recent days, different sources have been delimiting the date of the presentation until placing it in the week of June 19. First was Necrolipe, editor-in-chief of UniversoNintendo, who anticipated that the Direct would be this month. Later, in the forums of Famiboards Different more than reliable voices have emerged that have ended up setting a clear date: June 21, 2023.
Of course, Nintendo hasn’t made a statement yet. Although this information is not official, the company is expected to make a move so that a Nintendo Direct is held on Wednesday 21 or Thursday 22. At the moment, it is unknown what type it would be, if the standard format, the Mini format or a Partner Showcase as happened in June 2022, although there are numerous reasons that invite the latter to be ruled out.
We will remain waiting for the company to finish confirming this information, or to deny it by surprise. With Everybody 1-2-Switch around the corner and Pikmin 4 looming on the horizon, behind which there is nothing located in the calendarthe Big N has to start giving new dates for Switch users.
