Elisabeth Borne will sign this Friday an agreement with Action Logement, the opportunity to keep its commitments on the housing crisis. The measures announced last week, including the doubling of the number of beneficiaries of the Visale guarantee. They are 900,000 and the government aims for them to be two million in 2027. For this, the Prime Minister intends to relax the conditions of allocation. But what does it consist of? We take stock.
Free deposit scheme, subject to conditions
If a tenant can no longer pay his rent, Action Logement pays the sums due to the landlord. Sums that the tenant will be obliged to repay to the State therefollowing. Visale covers up to 36 months of unpaid rent in the private sector and nine months in the social sector, such as student residences. All young people between 18 and 30, regardless of their situation, are eligible, as well as, for example, employees over 30 with an income of less than or equal to 1,500 euros per month.
