THE foodies will be served on Friday on the occasion of the tenth edition of the Parcours des Terrasses Gourmands. More than 20 restaurants will offer exclusive appetizers and cocktails during the event, which will take place in the Petit Champlain district, at Place Royale and at the Old Port of Quebec.
“It’s going to be great, we’ve never had so many restaurants participating in the event and we have a much more complete offer than for previous editions”, assures Éric Lavoie, one of the organizers.
Even calling it a “buzz”, he said he was happy to see the enthusiasm of the population for the event, which aims to introduce local restaurateurs and culinary talents.
“The first year, we had to fight to find our place. This year, practically all the tickets flew very quickly without having to make publicity , underlines the one who expects to see thousands of people on the spot.
The streets will therefore be reserved for pedestrians and it will be allowed to walk around with a drink in hand, while a musical atmosphere provided by the Folk Expression Festival will take place on stages deployed all along the route.
Access to the districts will also be free for all during the event, which will take place from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. Several participating restaurateurs will also offer appetizers for sale on site.
