While the Nuggets have already been celebrating the title for several days, it was time to celebrate with the fans in the streets of Denver. The best moments of the NBA champion’s parade are right here.

No matter how much he explained that he was eager to get home to see his horses, Nikola Jokic was there to party with his friends in Denver.

A little later, the Denver coach might not contain his emotion when talking regarding the title and the fans.

Speaking of the fans, there were… a lot of them. According to some estimates, there were nearly 500,000 people gathered for the occasion. Remember that Denver has just over 700,000 inhabitants. Don’t say Colorado doesn’t like basketball.

Finally, to mark this historic date, the mayor of Denver announced that June 15 will henceforth be Nuggets Nation Day. The title is now an integral part of Mile High City.

So much for this parade of the Nuggets and we say maybe next year if Nikola Jokic and his friends realize the back-to-back. From now on, it’s time for holidays and a very long off-season.
