Dietitian Inna Kononenko believes that a sedentary lifestyle and malnutrition can cause serious health problems. Writes regarding it “Why does it hurt”.

A decrease in the body’s sensitivity to insulin (insulin resistance) can lead to type 2 diabetes, metabolic syndrome, obesity, stroke, or heart attack.

“If your weight has changed dramatically, the condition of your hair, skin and nails has worsened, and the wounds heal for too long, you should worry. Among the dangerous signs are also red dots on the skin, darkening in places of maximum friction – in the armpits, under the chest, on the knuckles of the fingers and toes, ”Kononenko said.

Habits that increase the risk of developing dangerous diseases:

  • eating stress with flour and sweet,
  • abuse of salty and fatty,
  • frequent snacks,
  • sleep following eating
  • “night” mode of life.

The expert notes that diets can also be harmful.

“I’m talking regarding severe dietary restrictions, in which the body does not feel better, but vice versa. Constant weight loss and weight gain only increase the tendency to insulin resistance,” says Kononenko.
