One in four cities with more than 200,000 inhabitants is ready for receive 5G signal. This is what a survey by Connect 5G, which only pointed out 27 of the 102 Brazilian municipalities over 200 thousand inhabitants, without affecting the capitals and those with more than 500 thousand inhabitants, with capacity to receive the new connection standard. Meanwhile, another 8 need greater adherence to the guidelines of the General Law of Antennas. The rest still don’t have antenna laws ready to receive 5G.
The executive president of Conexis Brasil Digital, Marcos Ferrari, commented on the scenario during the Telebrasil Innovation Panel:
