Georgia Releases Euphoric’s Second Prelude Single, “Give It Up For Love”
After the first single “It’s euphoric”, Georgia now shares the second song from her new album “Euphoric”, which will be released on July 28th. The single “Give it up for Love” captivates with a pop rhythm and lively melody. There is also a colorful music video directed by Mathy & Fran, which also takes up the idea of the song wonderfully: “Just when I thought I should give up/That’s the moment I found love”. We celebrate love!
Euphoric follows 2020’s Seeking Thrills album, which combines Georgia’s signature ’80s sounds and contemporary songwriting with catchy, poppy melodies.
The production of “Euphoric”: A whole new feeling
For the production of her third album, Georgia wanted an adventure! “As a self-producing musician, it’s easy to commit to one thing or one place,” she explains. For “Euphoric” the Briton has therefore teamed up with Rostam, who has advanced to become one of the currently important indie pop producers following leaving Vampire Weekend.
After Georgia has been producing her songs single-handedly for the last ten years, handing over control was an important process in the creation of “Euphoric”. Georgia finds a whole new form of freedom with this album: “Euphoric” enabled her to capitulate to her problems, her past and her mistakes and to start a healing process.
This freedom can be clearly heard in “Give it up for Love” and makes you look forward to more!
