The First Descendant has new crossplay beta and release window announced

During the Xbox Games Showcase Extended, Nexon Korea released this Tuesday (13) more details regarding the game’s upcoming testing period. The First Descendant. The new beta will be cross-platform, with cooperative gameplay and free to play.

The game still had its release window disclosed. It will arrive in Q4 2023 for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC consoles – via Steam.

As the trailer above shows, Descendants will be able to loot and fight while battling the Vulgus alien invaders in the new beta. In addition, there will be the possibility to play with two new characters, Valby and Kyle. They round out the roster of 13 characters available during testing.

There will also be a new cosmetic system, unique skins, and character skill modifications for this stage of experiments. There were still improvements in the game experience, whether in the performance of the servers, in the sound effects and in the user interface.

The First Descendant will have its trial period valid between the 22nd and 28th of August this year. Players can now add the game to their wishlist in the official stores, Xbox Game Store, PlayStation Store and Steam.
