A new player in the automotive distribution sector is spreading its wings in the Kingdom. Born from the takeover by Cap Holding of the distribution activity of Renault Group Morocco’s automotive brands, M-AUTOMOTIV intends to position itself as a national and continental leader in the marketing of new vehicles, following-sales services and vehicle trading. second hand.
As a reminder, and in line with the Renaulution plan, Renault Group has launched a global plan to reduce its own distribution operations. This has resulted in many countries around the world, including Morocco, in the transfer of its operations to private and specialized players in automobile distribution. From now on, Renault Group’s commercial subsidiary in Morocco, namely Renault Commerce Maroc, will focus its resources on the development of products and services for its customers and brands. This explains why M-AUTOMOTIV has taken over the branch network previously owned by Renault Commerce Maroc in Greater Casablanca.

In concrete terms, this network will contribute up to 30% of the volume of Renault Group’s total sales in Morocco. Moreover, it already totals an annual turnover of 3.5 billion dirhams. Leader of the Greater Casablanca automotive market, which alone accounts for nearly 40% of the national market, M-AUTOMOTIV therefore aims to market 20,000 vehicles per year.
Regarding the setting up of this operation, Cap Holding, a multi-sector group employing more than 3,000 people, has joined forces with HS Gestion, whose main shareholder is Souhail Houmaini, Renault Group dealer and seasoned automotive expert with more than 15 years of experience in the sector in Morocco and Europe. It should be noted that Mr. Houmaini will be in charge of the general management of M-AUTOMOTIV.
