Security operations will be carried out in several stations in Hainaut and their immediate surroundings, communicated the federal police who will collaborate for the occasion with ten areas of the Local Police of Hainaut. They will cover several days until June 21 at midnight.
The police intend to ensure a visible and preventive presence. The objective is to prevent incivility or aggression and to combat the “growing” feeling of insecurity felt by passengers and SNCB staff. “Tolerance 0 will be applied for each violation observed.“, warns the federal police.
The latter announces that it will mobilize four of its units for this action: the Federal Railway Police, the Hainaut Intervention Corps, Canin Support and the Public Security Department.
