It was investigated that this female student climbed up to the top of the soundproof tunnel using the passage and ladder installed to inspect the soundproof tunnel facilities.
The female student is said to have told the police, “The sky is beautiful, so I went up the tunnel to get a good look.”
The police said that they requested the Korea Expressway Corporation, which manages the soundproof tunnel, to install locks on inspection passages and ladders to prevent this from happening once more.
