Kozhikode: The drama workshop as part of the ‘Shanthanorma’ commemoration program conducted by the Purogamana Kalasahitya Sangh was notable for its participation and excellence in training. Renowned theater workers Manjulan, Kannanunni A., Aliyar Ali K. and Suveeran are giving enthusiasm and excitement to theater workers from different districts.
Directors KV Vijesh and Kabani said that drama camp is an attempt to bring out acting and make it a role model.
Shanthakumar’s daughter Neelanjana organized the camp. On Monday, the last day of the camp, the play Inside a Sleep will be staged at the Anakulam Cultural Center.
On the 14th, there will be a gathering of theater workers and a discussion on the topic ‘New Times – New Drama’ at the Town Hall. Priyanandan will inaugurate the memorial service. Award-winning artistes will be felicitated, B-Zone theater talents will be felicitated and the play ‘Immal’ will be presented.
