Measures to decongest emergencies
Likewise, given the high occupancy of pediatric beds and saturation in emergency services, the Florida Hospital (Eloísa Díaz) has reinforced the pediatric home hospitalizationwhere through a public-private collaboration, the Municipality will support with clinical teams.
“On behalf of all the residents of La Floridawe will deliver oxygen, medicines, doctors and, especially, kinesiotherapy, to these children so that they can recover at home and the beds are released so that they can attend to the new infections that come in the next few days,” said the communal chief.
Finally, Mayor Carter mentioned a third measure for parents of children under 2 years of age in the commune so that they enter into a teleworking regime so that they can care for their children: “We want to call on the sector private and also to the Government, to that this policy expands to all the country”, manifested.
With this modality, regarding 440 daily medical attentions are projected at homes and regarding 90 kinesiotherapy sessions, exceeding 500 daily attentions.
