Award

Viktor Kaluza, filmmaker from Wals-Siezenheim, was awarded a silver medal for his anti-war film “Dunkelgrau bis Schwarz” at the state championship of Austrian film authors, which took place in Eisenstadt this year. In addition, the film also received the Jury Prize and one of the three starting places for Austria at the World Championship of Film Authors, which will be held in Poznan (PL) in 2024.

Competition

Great success for Salzburg corporate law students: the finals of this year’s Antitrust Law Moot Court took place in Vienna at the beginning of June. The University of Salzburg 1 team (Marie-Christin Prechtl, Pia Möslinger-Gehmayr, Julia Helminger, Tania Veronica Loderbauer) won as “best team”. In addition, the individual performances of the students were evaluated. Adrian Noel Müry (PLUS) won first place as “Best Speaker”. The competition law moot court was organized for the ninth time this year by the Federal Competition Authority (BWB) together with ELSA Austria and the Dorda law firm.
