Inland, the maxima will be between 25 degrees on the heights of the Ardennes and up to 29, or even locally 30 degrees elsewhere. The wind will be moderate from the east. At sea, it will move northeast or north-northeast, limiting temperatures to 23 or 24 degrees.
From Friday to Monday, a line of stormy instability over northern France will be near, or even partly over our country (Sunday); upwellings of warmer air will precede and accompany this structure with, consequently, maxima close to or slightly above 30 degrees at least in the north of the country. The risk of a heat wave (at least 5 consecutive days with maximums equal to or greater than 25°C including at least 3 days with maximums reaching or exceeding 30°C) is therefore significant in this part of the territory, we causing a yellow level warning to be issued there. Depending on the evolution of the situation, it might later be extended to other provinces.
Saturday, the weather will be sunny and warm once more with highs of 25 degrees in Hautes-Fagnes to 30 degrees in the center, and up to 31 degrees, or even locally a little more in Campine. On the coast, temperatures will reach values of the order of 26 or 27 degrees, before the establishment of a northeast breeze during the course of the followingnoon.
Sunday will begin with sunny and warm weather. During the day, showers or thunderstorms might develop in places but in most regions, the weather will remain dry. Maximums of 25 degrees on the peaks of the Ardennes as well as on the coast and up to 30 or 31 degrees in the interior are expected.
