As part of the video game conferences of the summer hosted by the Summer Game Fest, the publisher Devolver Digital held its own online event. The opportunity to learn more regarding what’s to come and the independent titles that will occupy our days in the future. The full summary is here!

KarmaZoo
The cooperative KarmaZoo showed itself once more through a relatively short trailer and setting the context of this game in which mutual aid will be at the heart of the gameplay. Ten random players will be able to help each other and no less than fifty characters will be playable! Presented last April, the same trailer was reused during the Devolver show.

Hellboy Web Of Wyrd
The next game from the Hellboy comics, Hellboy Web Of Wyrd, is rather stingy with information and images. A short trailer will however have shown the eponymous character struggling with an enemy looking like a werewolf. At the end of the show, the developers promised to offer gameplay soon.

Shadows of the Damned Remastered
The game Shadows of the Damned, from the wacky Suda51, is going to experience a remaster! Developed in partnership with its creator and the Grasshopper Manufacture studio, the title will get a second life. It will be revealed in more detail during two dedicated events, broadcast on June 14 and 15, on the developers’ YouTube channel. We can’t wait to find out more!

Wizard with a gun
The Devolver conference allowed us to get to know this action-survival game in which we are asked to rebuild a world in the grip of chaos. Our little magician can count on spells, but also weapons. He will thus be able to get rid of his enemies and bring back the light. For the most impatient, a demo is already available on Steam.

The Talos Principle 2
The game of puzzles and riddles, sprinkled with philosophical reflections on the human condition, showed itself once more with an ever-engrossing gameplay trailer. We learn that it will be available this year

Human Fall Flat 2
Absolutely no information regarding the sequel to Human: Fall Flat, except… That it exists! A very short teaser made it possible to identify the barred universe of this puzzle game from which we are promised a significant evolution: gameplay, graphics engine, customization and multiplayer experience for up to eight players.

So, what do we think?
Devolver Digital held a rather dynamic event and presented several games, some of which were already known to us. One might criticize the fact of not having had a lot of gameplay to put in their mouths, but several titles will arrive on Xbox consoles and will necessarily be presented more, in due course. Special mention to the staging concerning the return of the mascot Volvy, a small emblematic character of the publisher, which can be seen in several of his creations. A summary film on the (fictional) history of this mascot is to be savored without moderation!
