Toyota Recalls 110,000 Corolla Cross Models over Front Passenger Seat Issue

Automaker Toyota has issued a recall of nearly 110,000 non-hybrid models of the Toyota Corolla Cross, and is bluntly asking not to sit in the front passenger seat.

The recall affects 2022 and 2023 model year models sold in North America. Some 13,806 vehicles are subject to a recall in the country.

The problem raised by the Japanese automaker is not to be taken lightly. The right-side frontal airbag may not deploy properly in a crash.

To avoid any inconvenience, Toyota advises customers affected by the recall not to sit in the front passenger seat until the repair is carried out.

Owners affected by the recall will receive notice in the coming weeks.
