Al-Marsad Newspaper: Al-Masry, who was accused of beheading two brothers and their friend in Qatar, made detailed confessions before the prosecution following his arrest upon his return to Cairo airport.

The accused said that he traveled to Qatar to attend the activities of the World Cup during the past year, and decided to stay there and search for a job opportunity, but he was not lucky, so he remained for days in the street looking for housing and a job opportunity. According to Egyptian media.

Victim assistance to the accused

He indicated that he had met the victims and they offered him to stay with them for several days until they searched for a job opportunity for him, pointing out that he stayed with them until last Eid al-Fitr, then they told him that they had booked him a return ticket to Egypt because they failed to hire him for any job.

Details of the accused’s commission of the crime

He continued, “I used to see them putting their money in a safe in the house…and I decided to drug them, steal them, and run away,” pointing out that he bought a hypnotic drug and put it for the victims – the two brothers – in the drink, but its effect was weak, so they woke up following a while and discovered that he was trying to steal them, so a quarrel broke out between them, so he slaughtered them. Taking advantage of their inability to move normally due to the effect of anesthesia.

He indicated that he was surprised by the entry of the two brothers’ friend, and when he tried to catch him, he stabbed him with a knife.

Arrest the accused

It is noteworthy that the accused managed to escape, following killing the three victims, but the woman was soon exposed, following the brother of two of the dead went to their apartment and found the three dead, and coordination took place between the authorities in Qatar and Egypt, and the accused was arrested at Cairo Airport.
