Four English bulldogs are said to have bitten an 81-year-old man who was mowing his lawn on April 6 in Worin near Seelow (Märkisch-Oderland), reports the “Märkische Oderzeitung”. The man died. The public prosecutor’s office is now checking whether the man was bitten to death by the dogs.
The autopsy result is still pending, said a spokeswoman for the public prosecutor’s office in Frankfurt (Oder) on Thursday. This is to clarify whether the man’s death is directly related to a dog attack.
The 81-year-old was attacked and bitten by four dogs while mowing the lawn near Seelow (Märkisch-Oderland district) in early April. He was then taken to the hospital, where he died regarding a month later. The police have launched investigations on suspicion of negligent homicide.
