“In medicine, we are faced with new challenges,” says Gunter Weiss, Director of the University Clinic for Internal Medicine II. How can I protect myself? How does our immune system protect us? What can we do regarding antibiotic resistance? The infectiologist answers these and many other questions as part of his public lecture from the series “Knowledge creates health” at the Medical University of Innsbruck. The expert also reveals new things regarding metabolic changes that take place in the body during infections.
