Reached by phone, the 51-year-old host made a vibrant tribute to Guillaume Bats that he had received several times on the airwaves of NRJ: “I found this boy to be amazing, whether it was during the shows, when we had a drink or a coffee apart from it all, he never complained regarding anything (…) This boy had nevertheless had a first part of life which was a beautiful mess. I think Jérémy Ferrari contributed, along with many other people, to make him live a dream that many people would have imagined impossible. That of going on stage, of making fun of himself, of making rooms bigger and bigger. Jeremy Ferrari said that the future was even more beautiful and that what was to happen would be even more beautiful. I think that was an incredible example. Cauet also told an anecdote regarding Guillaume Bats whom he was to receive on the premises of NRJ: “One day, he came to the office. There were four floors in the office. And our elevator, bad luck, broke down that day. I’m on a date and I forget that Guillaume has to arrive within five minutes.
