Even outside their working hours, police officers are required not to undermine the dignity of their profession. The investigation will say whether the kayak trip between colleagues, which ended last week in a fight with teenagers, will have legal and/or disciplinary consequences.

LLast week, regarding fifteen police officers from the Brussels-West zone (Molenbeek – Berchem – Ganshoren – Jette – Koekelberg) met outside the framework of work to go down the Lesse in a kayak. Presumably, they had shared a drunken aperitif before, since some of them were intoxicated when they met a group of regarding forty students, aged 14 to 16 and on a school trip, from the royal athenaeum of Molenbeek.
