The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation has prepared a procedure for restricting the right to drive a vehicle to persons who have restrictions in the unified register of military registration due to failure to appear on the agenda at the military registration and enlistment office. This follows from the draft order of the department, published on Wednesday, June 7.
According to the document, if the decision to restrict the right to drive a vehicle due to failure to appear at the military enlistment office is made, the relevant information will be sent to the State traffic inspectorate system within 24 hours. This information will be disseminated at the inter-regional, regional and district levels.
If the restrictions on driving are lifted, they will also be removed within 24 hours, according to the text of the draft resolution published by website draft normative legal acts.
On April 11, the State Duma adopted a law on electronic subpoenas and a unified register of persons liable for military service. Within the framework of this document, it is allowed to notify conscripts regarding conscription using electronic summonses. It also introduces some restrictions for citizens who received a summons but did not appear at the military commissariat.
