However, to support its claims, the Russian Ministry of Defense released a video purporting to show the destruction of a Leopard 2 tank by an attack helicopter [un Kamov Ka-52?]. The official Ria Novosti news agency, which distributed this documentwas more cautious, referring to a machine with a “characteristic silhouette of German-made combat vehicles”.

To tell the truth, and even if you think you can make out a cannon, the target vehicle does not look like anything known among German-made armored vehicles… And for good reason: it is not a Leopard 2 which was destroyed by a missile. anti-tank 9K121 Vikhr… but an agricultural machine that looks like a John Deere 4830 self-propelled sprayer. If the string is big, it is probably not for a public unfamiliar with military matters, which is the target of this manipulation. Even Yevgeny Progozhin, the leader of the paramilitary group Wagner, took offense at the latest assessment of the fighting put forward by the spokesman for the Russian Ministry of Defense. “It’s just rantings,” he quipped via Telegram. “In fact, why not add up all the numbers given by Konashenkov. I think we have already destroyed the whole of planet Earth five times,” he concluded.
