Actor and director Guillaume Canet will be the president of the jury for the 49th edition of the Deauville festival, which will take place from September 1 to 10.
An exceptional president. For its 49th edition, the Deauville American Film Festival offers Guillaume Canet the role of president of the jury. The 50-year-old actor and director says he is proud to accept this role, he who considers this festival as “the unmissable event for American cinema in Europe”.
Moreover, the director ofAsterix and Obelix: The Middle Kingdom claims to be passionate regarding art that comes straight from the United States. “I have always been fascinated and passionate regarding independent American cinema.
