I’m steeped in the fighting game culture, so it feels like destiny for me to tell you regarding a project that I was very lucky to help create.
My fighting game journey started in the 90’s with Street Fighter 2 and Mortal Kombat 1, and my love for the genre has been a relentless driving force in my life ever since.
Over the years, this passion has brought me to the front lines of the fighting game community (FGC)/esports scene. Competing in EVO, Combo Breaker, CEO, Tokyo Game Show, etc., I’ve been lucky enough to make a career out of this and develop peripherals for major players in the FGC community near and far.
It is in this spirit that I am delighted to finally unveil a project that we at Razer have been passionately building arcade controllers poised to redefine the world of fighting games: the Razer Kitsune。
Designed with deep understanding of the needs of the fighting game community and in collaboration with some of the top FGC professionals, Kitsune is an innovative all-button optical arcade controller designed exclusively for the PlayStation®5 console and PC.

Our longstanding involvement in the FGC and esports space, attending major Capcom Pro Tour tournaments and working with their tournament organizers has been instrumental in facilitating this collaboration.
