Less than a month following its launch in China, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra is already announcing its French release. Good news, it arrives in less than a week.
The Chinese giant smartphones Xiaomi presented to us in detail its latest addition which completed its range Xiaomi 13. The Xiaomi 13 Ultra will therefore be released worldwide a month following its launch on Chinese territory, i.e. on June 12, from 10 a.m. in France.
The price is still unknown
We already know a lot regarding this Xiaomi 13 Ultra, and we will come back to its impressive technical characteristics for any photo enthusiast a little later. On the other hand, the brand, if it has confirmed the release date of the smartphone, did not deign to share the selling price of the latter. The Xiaomi 13 Pro, a higher-end model before the release of the Ultra, is sold for around €1,300. It would therefore be hardly surprising to find the Xiaomi 13 Ultra on the shelves at around 1,500 €.
We also do not know in which configurations we will find the device. The model released in China is available with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage or 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage. Will France be entitled to the same configurations? Given the models released previously, one would have to doubt it.
A classic smartphone, a powerful photophone
The Xiaomi 13 Ultra does not reinvent the wheel of the smartphone itself. The Chinese device is equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip from Qualcomm. It also features a 6.73-inch, 3,200 x 1,440 pixel (522 ppi) WQHD+ AMOLED display, refreshed up to 120Hz. to 2600 nits in some scenarios. Finally, its 5000 mAh battery is rechargeable by wire at 90 W.
On the other hand, the smartphone intends to make a place for itself thanks to the power of its photo block integrated into the back covered with vegan leather. We therefore find a main sensor of one inch of 50 mpx, a telephoto lens of 50 mpx f / 1.8, a super-telephoto lens of 50 mpx f / 3.0 and an ultra-wide-angle, once more of 50 mpx, f / 1.8 . In short, a photo pro, of which the 13 Pro model was already a worthy representative.
