At least one assault rifle made by FN Herstal has been used by paramilitary militias fighting in Russia. It remains to try to find out how she got there.

Sf Belgian-made weapons seem to have been used by the two anti-Putin militias on Russian territory in the vicinity of Belgorod in recent days, there is nothing to confirm for the time being that these are weapons delivered directly by Belgium to the Ukrainian army. Other Western armies supporting Ukraine militarily also have them. This is the case of the United States and France in particular.

Pending an official explanation from the Ukrainian government, the Belgian government has asked the military intelligence services to carry out the investigation.
