In all seriousness, I think there are two possibilities here. First, we have a partner offering similar to what we had in 2022. That should be filled later in the year, and some big-name third-party titles will help incentivize the switch. However, it is very likely that we will see Pikmin 4 Direct – at least by the end of July. We haven’t heard anything regarding this long-awaited sequel since it was released in February 2023 in Direct. This isn’t to say it’s a Splatoon or Zelda Direct, of course, it’s Nintendo’s next big first party title, and they really need a media ad to draw a big crowd for it.

I’m going to be very positive with my predictions and say that the June Nintendo Direct is very unlikely to happen. I’m sorry, no. Nintendo has already said it won’t be attending the canceled E3 2023, so I don’t see any reason to go out with Nintendo Direct at the same time.
I’m not sure regarding that, but I doubt we’ll see Indie World or Partner Showcase. Here’s the thing: Nintendo just released its biggest Switch title since the console’s launch in 2017 with Tears of the Kingdom. He wants to ride as high as possible. Zelda and Nintendo are the focal point of online discourse right now, and they likely will be for some time.
Why would Nintendo want to break out of it? That’s why everyone’s 1-2-Switch reveal has been so quietly I think we won’t hear from Nintendo until Pikmin 4 marketing starts ramping up in July.

I’d like to have a live display box in the corner, I don’t think that’s possible. Is the rest of 2023 too quiet for the Big N? definitely. But TOTK takes more everyone Right now, why would you want to rush to the next level of instead of letting that soup cook for as long as possible?
I don’t think there will be nothing All month long, watch out Nintendo – this is the season to release game plans, and all. A simple way to tide us over until the inevitable Pikmin 4 barrage begins in July? Drop another wave of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe DLC, maybe. maybeAlso a surprise release of Splatoon 3’s ‘Side Order’.
There’s rarely the big June Blast we all want, but no one really wants to see Zelda for that long, right?
So, we all think so, but we want to hear from you, too. Be sure to vote in the poll below and leave a comment to let us know what you think Nintendo might do at June’s “Gaming Christmas” party.
