Akhmat sharply criticized the results of the RPL award
The club believes that some of the achievements of their players and head coach were not appreciated at the Heroes of the Russian Premier League awards ceremony held the day before.

The Akhmat football club advocated a new vote counting system when choosing the best players of the year and a coach in the RPL at the end of the season. About it says in the statement of the club in Telegram
According to the club, the system for determining the best needs to be improved. “It is enough to look at the three goals that made it to the final in order not to understand: why are there no goals of Mohamed Konate or Darko Todorovic among them? The choice of the fans, they will answer us. That is the question: the choice of fans, taking into account the audience of Moscow, St. Petersburg and the regions, should be counted as one point, ”the statement says.
Akhmat believes that there is no logic in the current system. “Just as it is not there, why was not Sergey Tashuev among the nominees for the title of the best coach of the year, who is the leader among colleagues in all statistical indicators. Or goalkeeper Giorgi Shelia, one of the best in the season in his role, ”summed up in the Grozny club
At the end of the season, Akhmat took fifth place. The Chechen team set a club record for points scored in the RPL season – 50. At the beginning of the season, the team was coached by Andrey Talalaev. He left the club following the 10th round of the RPL. Then Tashuev took over the team and raised it from 8th to 5th place in the standings.
