Benzema is moving to Saudi Arabia following a 14-year club career with Spanish club Real Madrid. The Etihad are the 2022-23 Saudi Pro League champions.

The Ballon d’Or Frenchman has signed a contract with Al-Ittihad until 2025. Fabrizo Romano, a football transfer market expert, reports that the Saudi club has acquired Benzema for an amount of 200 million euros (Rs. 17,67,60,58,402) per year. Benzema will officially bid farewell to Real Madrid tomorrow, Tuesday June 6.

Benzema ends his 14-year career with Real Madrid. Benzema has won 25 titles for Real, including five Champions Leagues and four La Liga titles. Benzema arrived at the Bernabeu at the age of 21 from French club Lyon. Benzema has scored 353 goals in 647 matches for Real Madrid. Benzema is the second highest goalscorer for Madrid in La Liga and Champions League. Benzema is also the 2022 Ballon d’Or winner.
Al-Nasser Club brought Ronaldo to Saudi Arabia in a contract of 200 million euros. The Portuguese superstar left Manchester United and moved to Saudi Arabia during the winter break last December. Apart from Ronaldo and Benzema, the Saudi team has spread its net for big stars like Lionel Messi. For this, the Saudi government is providing special financial assistance to the SPL teams.
