Virginia Crespeau: Career Highlights of the Iconic French TV Host and Documentary Filmmaker

It was in 1975, as an animator, that Virginia Crespeau began her career on television, with a production by Gérard Calvet, Holidays animated. She appeared alongside the puppet Crocosel in this program intended for young people, and for which she had interpreted with the producer, the credits entitled Holidays, Holidays and It’s tiring the holidays. Virginia Crispeau, however, waited three years later to become a speaker. Indeed, it was from 1978, that French viewers found her, on the channel that was called Antenne 2 at the time. We saw her host an animal magazine, before presenting Matin Happiness, allowing him to receive many guests, and to animate different sections. In 1990, she then made a small tour by the presentation of the Loto of TF1, before returning to France 2, since two years later, Virginia Crespeau had created and hosted the program Présence protestante, broadcast on Sunday mornings. A full career therefore, and which does not stop there, since the former host is now a member of the Scam (Civil society of multimedia authors), and she has to her credit, forty documentaries on various social subjects. This overflowing career did not, however, prevent her from becoming a mother, since she had four children, including a son who is not at all unknown to the public, since he too is a famous face, but more especially networks (…)
