Died last Thursday at the age of 36, the French humorist Guillaume Bats was very close to the Belgian Laura Laune. Silent since the sad announcement of the disappearance of her friend, she spoke this Sunday evening via Instagram. “Emotions are intense so it’s been hard for me to speak since Thursday“, she wrote, revealing photos with Guillaume Bats and a small poem intended for his friend, and in tribute to the “magic threesome” that they formed, she, Guillaume and a certain Neil, their “forever friend”.
”Four years ago, in a moment of doubt, Guillaume told me: ‘Do it for me’. These words resonate more than ever today. When the force is no longer there, it is love that allows you to move forward”, continues Laura Laune, who often made videos and sketches with the young comedian, as well as with Arnaud Tsamère and Jérémy Ferrari in particular.
”Thank you for all these moments”, “It doesn’t make sense”, “The king of self-mockery”: the many reactions of stars to the death of Guillaume Bats
It is also the latter who discovered the lifeless body of Guillaume Bats. “He was to give a press conference yesterday at 7:30 p.m. He didn’t show up and didn’t answer our calls. I went to his house and found him deceased in his bed, probably in his sleep, but this has yet to be confirmed by the doctors.”, explained Jérémy Ferrari.
