Porsche Germany celebrates on 10./11. June at the Hockenheimring a “Festival of Dreams”. “75 years of Porsche sports cars, 60 years of the Porsche 911 and the 100th anniversary of the 24-hour race in Le Mans are the perfect occasion for this,” says Alexander Pollich, CEO of Porsche Deutschland GmbH. The event starts on Saturday at 9:11 am. Free tickets for the two days can now be booked via the website www.festival-of-dreams.de.

The heart of the festival is the Dreamers Plaza, where visitors can look forward to a stage program moderated by Steven Gätjen, among others. In “Dreamer Talks”, well-known personalities such as Toni Garrn, Paul Ripke and Walter Röhrl talk regarding their dreams. In “Tech Talks”, Porsche specialists explain details regarding the sports cars. Highlight on Saturday evening: an exclusive concert by Alvaro Soler.

The Porsche Museum will also have its own stand with the “Driven by Dreams” heritage truck specially designed for the anniversary year and the museum shop. In the Porsche Experience Center, those interested can find out more regarding what’s on offer there, while in the “Dreamer’s Garage” you can experience various Porsche worlds with signature collections inspired by motorsport. The highlight is the “75Y Collection” for the 75th anniversary of Porsche sports cars. In the “Customization Corner” customers can have their limited “75Y Porsche” T-shirt personalized.

Numerous food trucks with regional and international dishes ensure culinary well-being. Young guests get their money’s worth in the kids’ area. Among other things, “United in Dreams” provides an action-packed motorsport program for children and young people. The project – together with the Deutscher Motor Sport Bund eV – is committed to inclusion in motorsport. With the help of a specially converted electric kart, young people with and without disabilities can take part in the kart slalom. In the “Dreamland Camp” overnight accommodation for festival visitors with vans or Porsches with roof tents will be offered for the first time. Tickets for this can be purchased via the festival homepage www.festival-of-dreams.de.

All visitors also have the opportunity to follow the Porsche Carrera Cup Germany, the Porsche Carrera Cup Benelux and the ADAC GT Masters live from the grandstand at the Hockenheimring. The Porsche Sprint Challenge Classic Germany, in which historic Cup vehicles of the 964 and 993 generations are at the start, is celebrating its premiere. In addition to the races, there is an extensive range of motor sports, vehicle exhibitions and taxi rides. The 24-hour race at Le Mans celebrates its 100th anniversary on the festival weekend. The entire race will be broadcast on the roof terrace of the Porsche Experience Center together with Porsche motorsport partner Mobil 1. (awm)
