Continuing our series of articles focused on the iWork suite, today we are going to focus especially on Keynote — software dedicated to creating and editing slideshows.

At any time, while editing a document within this app, you can change its theme. This way, you can check out a different design for your presentation without having to start all over once more using another template.

See how super simple it is to do this! ????

First of all, it’s worth a warning: the existing slides will carry with them all the attributes present in the new chosen theme. If you’ve customized anything on them (like the background or text color), the changes will stick.

How to Change the Theme of a Keynote Presentation on iPhone/iPad

Open the presentation in Keynote, tap the button represented by three dots (in the upper right corner) and go to Presentation Options » Presentation Setup.

Swipe over the theme previews at the bottom of the screen to choose the new one. When you have made your choice, tap “OK”.

How to change the theme of a presentation in Keynote on Mac

With the presentation open, go to Archive » Change Theme on the menu bar. If you prefer, click on “Document” (in the upper right corner), select the “Document” tab and then “Change Theme”. Browse available themes using the categories (on the left side).

If you want the new styles to override your changes, uncheck “Keep style changes” and click “Choose” following selecting whichever theme you want.

Simple, isn’t it?! ????
