During the night from Saturday to Sunday, shortly following midnight, the firefighters of Liège were called upon for a fire in a building located at the corner of rue Saint-Gilles and rue Trappé in Liège.
When they arrived, the second floor was engulfed in flames. The first elements seem to indicate that the fire started, for a reason that is still unknown, in the kitchen. The fire was quickly brought under control and there were no injuries. The damage is significant.
A few minutes before this fire, the firefighters of Liège had also been asked for a fire in stored papers, rue Saint-Séverin, in the Sainte-Marguerite district, in Liège.
