Thermo King launches its new BlueBox Lite telematics device designed to improve the connectivity of pulley-motor units.
With la BlueBox Litecustomers now have a more cost-effective way to obtain not only temperature and position data, but also critical information from the pulley-motor refrigeration unit control system, such as setpoints, alarms or the number of hours of operation.
The BlueBox Lite has 4G connectivity allowing customers to easily access data via the Thermo King TracKing™ web portal, TK Reefer or integrate it with a third-party platform or back-end system.
Other key features of the Thermo King BlueBox Lite device include: near real-time data access with the five-minute logging interval for improved response times. It enables a “plug-and-play” solution reducing installation time, without the need for a separate data logger to obtain temperature data. Unlike other telematics solutions with temperature sensors, the BlueBox Lite is easy to install and connects directly to the refrigeration unit controller.
If EN12830 compliant solution is combined with the optional TouchLog data logger. Bi-Directional Control allows set point change to allow remote control of load temperature.
