Not everything went smoothly for Hans Peter Doskozil at his party conference appearance in Linz. The SPÖ leader-to-be had quickly used up the 45 minutes allowed in free speech – there was no time left for such important issues as climate and migration. When rival Andreas Babler delivered a rousing speech, a defeat didn’t seem impossible.
