Still prices of 75 cents per kWh in Lower Austria
St. Polten (OTS) – “EVN must finally lower the electricity price,” demanded the liberal club chairman Reinhard Teufel in response to the Ö1 interview with the President of the Austrian Energy Industry Association and Michael Strugl, head of the association. “If the association lowers the electricity price to below 20 cents from June, then EVN will have to follow suit,” says Teufel.
According to Teufel, it cannot be that the people of Lower Austria have to pay insane prices of more than 75 cents per kWh, while network customers are only charged 20 cents for the same electricity. “Therefore, down with the electricity prices! And do it now!” Teufel called on the EVN management.
