The inclement weather caused a state of alert to be declared and the Miami International Airport reported delays in some flights due to the lightning that was detected, although until now the departure and entry of the planes have not been cancelled.
The areas most affected by the rains are Downtown, Hialeah, Miami Lakes, Opa-locka, Little Havana, North Miami, Edgewater and Brickell.
